Intangible Capital of Grace

The first question Noah would have kept on asking himself, when he was asked to build an Ark against all obvious odds would have been the common question of 'why me'. We were not told that Noah had any ecclesiastic background. He was not a Pastor neither was he a preacher of any sort. Noah was just another man out there whose ways and values aligned with that of God to a satisfactory level, based on divine standard of godliness set for his own dispensation, time and generation. With the understandable ridicules and challenges from others around him, Noah could not stop doing the obviously ridiculous in the name of following God. He rather followed that inner urge to do the unpopular. I am sure the question would have been asked repeatedly and much more during the flood as he watched everything wiped off the earth with awe. Noah would have probably seen his old friends and neighbours swept past his ark both young and old and would have asked again and again, why him in there and not them. Having survived the flood, the day Noah came out of the ark and few days afterward would have been surreal days of retrospection and introspection. Noah, being not so self-righteous, would probably have recalled how nothing in humanrights terminology had qualified him for such benevolence of heaven. At one point or the other, Noah would have then come to the conclusion that it was 'grace' that found him.

Grace in the context of this book is either the natural or supernatural benevolence bestowed on you as endowments. There was a deposit of benevolent endowment in Noah even before the script of the flood started playing out. In like manner, there is a dimension of natural endowments in you simply because you are human, and that is a measure of grace. If you have taken a step further into the saving grace through Christ Jesus, you are now talking of being naturally endowed as human and supernaturally endowed as a regenerated spirit.

ATTENTION! ATTENTION! ATTENTION!  Don't worry this is not an alarm but I know it is worth your time. Have you ever come across little children who actually make use of vulgar languages like it was their nursery rhyme? It Beats your imagination, right? I have often wondered myself, who takes responsibility for this looseness? or is it just me that happens to be outdated? Hmmm, pardon me ooo. In retrospect, I remember growing up, there were places and words that were prohibited thus as a part of training, our association with friends were well checkmated. To a great extent, it really prevented some excesses, here and there. Time is evolving, likewise our norms. There is so much laxity now. Who is to blame? Parents? Teachers?Guardian? Whatever the case may be, there are loopholes and those loopholes must be attended to. We cannot afford to loose our children as a result of our own carelessness. These children are precious jewel we must keep, well protected and secured. We must be u...
